on Saturday  I went trick or treating  with some friends there was one guy that give me and my brother and my friends a hug he was nice we got toy cars from him and my brother got a pirate ship my brother was happy when he got it. And there was cop cars and army cars then there it start to rain more information coming soon. 

facts about sea snakes

 Sea snakes seem pretty cool.  Although all snakes can swim, sea snakes live mostly in the water.  They do need to come up for air but can stay under water for up to an hour! Wow, try holding your breath that long!  Since they need air regularly they are usually found in shallow waters of the Indian Ocean, and warmer areas of the Pacific Ocean.  They eat fish, fish eggs and eels that they find under rocks and in reef. There are about 30-50 different types of sea snakes and they beg to the Cobra family.  The average Sea snake grows to about 2 meters long and has a smallish head for its body size.  Their tails are flattened to make fast swimming possible and flaps over their nostrils close.

Despite pulling with all his strength  the lock wouldn’t loosen. His heart felt heavy with sorrow  and a forlorn look spread across his face  look so red like a  tomato it just won't budge. His heart filled with disappointment as he retreated because he heard footsteps coming down stairs from the in side of the house. He retreated back to make a plan to get in side the house he wanted something in side the house a  banana or a toy or a ball. He got in side the house he is looking around the room looking for something he found a banana jump out the window landing on the hard ground.Part 2 coming soon.

Imagine all of the technology in the world suddenly broke. How would you manage without ANY technology  Can you make a list of all the technology you use on a daily basis

Writing ideas (Remember you can use a Pobble genre checklist and model texts 

Write instructions about how to survive a day without technology.

Write a diary entry about your normal day, but think of alternative activities to replace the ones that require technology 

Write a letter to a child living in Tudor England, describing to them the technology we have today and how we use it You could even write a response!

Write a balanced argument about whether technology is good or bad for us

The Invisible Man

Just minutes before, everything had been completely normal. He had sat eating his breakfast at the kitchen table, as he did every day of his life. It was only when he looked in the mirror that he realised something was wrong. For several seconds he had panicked, and a sick feeling grew in his stomach. His mouth felt dry and he started to sweat as he sprinted from room to room, trying in vain to find a reflection. How could this have happened? Of all days, why did it have to be today? This was the most important day of his life. He had to find help…

Astrid held out her hands. She was alone in the forest, and an eerie silence surrounded her. All she could hear was the faint buzz, like a bee settling down on a flower, coming from the thing she held so protectively in front of her.

Her hands were suddenly filled with a comforting warmth, as a silvery light pulsed from the object. A tingle ran down Astrid’s spine.

“It must be magic…” She muttered excitedly under her breath... “It must be!”

       All she could hear was the faint buzz, like a bee settling down on a flower, coming from the thing she held so protectively in front of her.

I have used a simile to describe the noise coming from the object.

making ham and onion scones.

 so today i made ham and onion scones i had to preheat oven to 220 degrees then i had to measure out the ingredients, put in a blow then i had to mix it all with my hands and then put some flour on the bench then roll it out then i got a cup a cut them into a shape then put them on the baking tray then for ten minutes then put them in the oven for 12 minutes.

the creature from the deep

the creature from the deep It came from the sea, calmly at first. An enormous, slithering tentacle slowly oozing its way over the top of the sea wall, exploring the metal and concrete shapes with suckers the size of your front door.

Then, as more and more people came, and shrieks and cries of alarm filled the air, the creature became angry. All hell broke loose…In an almighty tangle of limbs and water and buildings and people, the beast came violently exploding out of the frothing water. The normally sturdy metal supports of the buildings groaned under the extreme weight of the gigantic tentacles crushing them. Panic. Complete panic set in.
